Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, Russian and International football stars will start a campaign of volunteers’ recruitment for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Vladimir Putin and Gianni Infantino will start a campaign that promises to be the largest in the history of the volunteer movement in Russia on 1 June in "Green theater" of Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy in Moscow. Also to wish future volunteers a good luck some football stars will join the vent, such as

Carles Puyol 2008 UEFA champion and the champion of 2010 FIFA World Cup in the team of Spain, Rinat Dasaev, famous goalkeeper, participant of 1982, 1986 and 1990 FIFA World Cup in the national team of the USSR, the Deputy of FIFA General Secretary on football questions, ZvonomirBoban, a former midfielder of Italian club “Milana” and the bronze medalist of the 1998 FIFA World Cup Croatia.

It is planned to enable about 5500 volunteers for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 for the volunteer program of the “Russia 2018”, also 15000 volunteers will take part in organizing of the first in FIFA World Cup in Russian history. The recruitment of volunteers will last until the end of the year 2016.

15 volunteer centers in 11 cities-organizers of 2018 World Cup Russia will be choosen from a number of Russian and foreign volunteers, who can apply on the website FIFA.com (ru.fifa.com/volunteers) from 1 June.
